KASA 500 is a dual-class D amplifier with a power of 250W. This amplifier, controlled by a DSP system, is optimized to deliver thunderous bass from KEF Ci subwoofers. With linear inputs, speaker level inputs, and customizable DSP bandwidth with additional high-pass filters, the KASA 500 is versatile and can be used in any system configuration.
Features:
- Powerful Class D amplifier designed to work with KEF subwoofers. Output power of 2 x 250W.
- Can work with 2 in-wall KEF subwoofers.
- Inputs: speaker level and line input.
- Digital signal processing settings for optimizing performance with KEF subwoofers.
- Controlled pass-through channel (full range or high frequency range).
- Power on/off based on input signal presence or 12V trigger switch.
- Updatable firmware via USB memory card.
To ensure future flexibility, KEF engineers can update the KASA500 DSP firmware to optimize performance with additional KEF speakers. The KASA500 programmer is a patented tool for updating the KASA500 firmware. For the KASA500 software, an "USB Type A plug - USB Type A plug" cable is required to connect the computer to the KASA500.
Package includes:
