KEF Ci3160REFM - an integrated speaker system that is part of the Reference series, positioned as the entry-level integrated system after the Ci5160REF. It differs from the Ci5160REF in the number of low-frequency drivers (two instead of four) and, accordingly, in size.
Features:
- Integrated speaker system;
- Number of speakers: 4;
- Frequency range: 32 Hz - 30 kHz;
- Sensitivity: 90 dB;
- Impedance: 4 Ohms.
The Ci3160REF features a 6.5-inch two-way proprietary coaxial Uni-Q driver at its center. It has a vented tweeter with an aluminum dome located in the center of the low-mid frequency driver's diaphragm. Two 6.5-inch low-frequency drivers with aluminum diaphragms are positioned on the sides. They are all connected by a sturdy aluminum front panel that effectively resists unwanted vibrations.
Due to the symmetrical arrangement of the drivers on the front panel, the system is versatile in application. In addition to serving as vertically oriented satellites in left, right, side, or rear positions, they can also be used as center channel systems.
Like all the systems in the Reference series, the KEF Ci3160REF is designed and manufactured at the KEF factory in Maidstone, Kent, England. In addition to the integrated speakers, the Reference series includes two floor-standing speakers, one wall-mounted speaker, two center channel models, and a subwoofer.
