The 160RR speaker system features KEF's Uni-Q driver, where the high-frequency tweeter is placed at the acoustic center of the midrange diffuser. This allows the midrange and high-frequency drivers to act as a single point source, delivering focused and coherent sound throughout the listening area.
Combined with the UTB (Ultra Thin Bezel) design, which ensures only a very narrow rim is visible around the speaker, this allows for flexible placement options.
THX certification:
The Ci160RR-THX boasts a 25mm high-frequency tweeter placed at the acoustic center of the 165mm low-frequency driver, ensuring consistent natural performance across the listening area. Additionally, the universal cut-out system means it shares the same hole dimensions as any other 160mm KEF driver, making installation and component selection easier.
