The speakers in this series feature a specially designed Uni-Q driver by KEF, where the high-frequency driver is placed at the acoustic center of the mid-range diffuser. This allows both the mid-range and high-frequency drivers to sound like a single, focused source. The sound is evenly distributed throughout the listening area.
Combined with the Ultra Thin Bezel (UTB) design, which only exposes a very narrow border around the speakers, it allows for flexible and unrestricted placement of the Ci Q series speakers.
With a mounting depth of 84mm, the speakers can be installed in very limited spaces. The ultra-low-profile bass module provides excellent bass extension, while the ventilated tweeter with KEF's unique "Tangerine" waveguide is chosen for natural high-frequency response and wide, even dispersion.
The rigid flat diaphragm ensures clean upper bass and mid-range frequencies. The paintable UTB border and magnetic grille blend subtly with the decor. The quick and versatile installation enables mounting on almost any surface using either a clip-on mechanism or direct screw mounting.
