The Ci160ER ceiling acoustic systems are equipped with a 16mm aluminum tweeter and a 160mm polypropylene woofer using Uni-Q technology.
The thin edge is made using UTB technology, providing a smooth flat front surface that seamlessly fits into any space. The grilles are attached with magnets, making installation convenient and fast. This design saves time compared to traditional flange speakers.
Thanks to their high power, wide frequency range, and even sound dispersion, you don't need a large number of speakers to cover a room. In situations where you would need four or six regular ceiling speakers for even coverage, you can often get by with just two Ci160ER speakers and fill every corner of the room with sound.
Creating a point source allows for nearly uniform spherical dispersion, resulting in the most accurate and natural reproduction of the soundstage no matter where the listener is located. In stereo mode, this eliminates the need for precise aiming of the speakers towards the listening spot, while in a home theater setting, it creates an extensive comfort zone.
The speaker facade, with the Uni-Q driver occupying most of it, has a special shape with a rounded edge. The computer-calculated curvature profile ensures seamless integration of the driver into the ceiling plane without sound wave refraction at the diffuser boundary.
The grilles have magnetic attachments and are made using UTB (Ultra-Thin Bezel) technology. The metal grille has a narrow, practically invisible frame. It is painted white, but it can be repainted to match the interior color scheme so that the speakers blend in.
The speakers are moisture-resistant and meet the requirements applied to equipment installed on marine vessels. The grilles are coated with a special corrosion-resistant compound, and the plastic housing is UV-resistant. This makes the speakers suitable for installation in bathrooms, yachts, and pools.
