The speaker systems in this series feature KEF's designed Uni-Q driver, where the high-frequency driver is positioned at the acoustic center of the mid-frequency diaphragm. This allows the mid-frequency and high-frequency drivers to sound like a single, focused source. Furthermore, the sound is widely and evenly distributed throughout the listening area.
Combined with the UTB (Ultra Thin Bezel) design, which allows only a very narrow rim to be visible around the speaker system, it provides the freedom and flexibility to choose the installation location of the Ci Q series speaker systems.
The 84mm mounting depth allows for installation in very restricted spaces. The ultra-low-profile woofer with excellent bass extension and the vented tweeter with the unique KEF "Tangerine" waveguide are selected for natural high-frequency response and wide, even dispersion.
The rigid flat diaphragm ensures clean upper bass and mid-range frequencies. The ultra-thin bezel (UTB), which is paintable, and the magnetic grille seamlessly blend with the decor. Quick and universal installation allows for mounting on almost any surface using a clasp or direct screw mounting.
