The signal output by SPDIF devices is a digital signal. According to industry quality control standards for digital signals, it should appear as a "square wave" (on an oscilloscope screen). However, the signal can be anything but "square," more resembling a jagged wave.

Global Master Timing and Memory Buffer
AMR's Global Master Timing synchronization technology and memory buffer system represent a highly sophisticated sequential digital solution that eliminates the jitter issue for SPDIF signals once and for all. The intelligent memory system stores a large number of complete audio samples, allowing it to fully neutralize extensive variations (jitter and drift) present in the incoming signal, while simultaneously transmitting data with a fixed and precisely set clock frequency - regardless of variations in the incoming sync signal.
The most important aspect of the GMT synchronization system is its extremely low level of jitter, a quartz-based clock system (pulse duration <300 femtoseconds) capable of generating millions of different frequencies with an accuracy of no worse than 0.001 Hz. Thus, if the frequency value shifts from 192000002 Hz to 192000003 Hz within a minute (drift), which is the minimum number that can have significance, the GMT clock generator will meaningfully and accurately track this change. This is the central technology of the SPDIF iPurifier device.
iPower technology "less noise than a battery"
Since the SPDIF iPurifier is powered by 5V, it is essential that it comes from a "noise-free" power source. Therefore, all SPDIF iPurifier devices come with their own iPower (5V) power supply. With its noise level of 1µV, iPower belongs to the family of practically noiseless DC power supplies. It has low power consumption and low noise level.
