Description

The iFi Micro iDSD is a digital-to-analog converter and headphone amplifier that runs on its own battery.

There is nothing like the iFi Micro iDSD digital-to-analog converter. Without exaggeration, the world has never seen such a device. It is the only DAC in the world that can handle Octa-DSD512/PCM768/Double DXD playback hardware.

The Micro iDSD can be customized to match any type of headphones, from tiny IEMs (in-ear monitors) to full-size professional headphones. The output level of the Micro iDSD is 8v/4000mW, making it one of the most powerful headphone amplifiers. With such power, it can drive even the most demanding headphones.

iFi has established a reputation for bringing the most advanced solutions in computer audio. The Micro iDSD takes it a step further. It features a Dual-Core Burr-Brown chipset, providing hardware support for DSD/PCM. The Micro iDSD supports True Native PCM768, Octa-Speed DSD512, and 2x DXD. Where else have you seen this?

The Micro iDSD has 3 power modes: Eco, Normal, and Turbo - 250mW, 1000mW, and 4000mW respectively. This means that the Micro iDSD is capable of fully unleashing the potential of any amplifier and any headphones. With the iEMatch technology, you can enjoy optimal sound quality with your in-ear monitors. The Micro iDSD redefines what a headphone amplifier should be.

In addition to being able to work with any device and any audio format, the iFi Micro iDSD is a compact device that also features an analog volume control. SmartPower® is a built-in charging device for "smart" devices, whether it's Apple, Android, smartphones, or tablets.

The charging device has a 4800mAh battery, which is enough to fully charge an iPhone twice. As you can see, iFi wants to make its device as convenient as possible - now you can enjoy high-end sound anywhere, anytime, without worrying about the battery running out.

The iCAN and iTube devices have received favorable reviews from critics and users. The unique technologies used in these devices, such as 3D Holographic and XBass, have played a significant role in their popularity. These technologies have been so effective and innovative that many manufacturers are trying to incorporate something similar into their devices. The Micro iDSD is the first product in the iFi lineup where the XBass and 3D Holographic features can be used for both headphones and speakers. Like the iCAN and iTube, these technologies are based on analog, not digital, to accurately reproduce the sound of the original recording.

And that's not all...the Micro iDSD has as many unique features as you won't find in any other device. Everything that iFi has incorporated into the Micro iDSD comes from the wishes of ordinary users. They are the ones who have determined what the Micro iDSD should be. The iFi Micro iDSD digital-to-analog converter is packed with never-before-seen "know-how" - with Direct/Pre-Amp mode, 3.5mm input, SPDIF input/output, and many other interesting features. Don't believe it? Check out the specifications.

Power output

This is the useful power developed by the amplifier in the load resistance. Amplifiers are usually characterized by the highest power that can be obtained at the output, provided that the distortion does not exceed the specified permissible value. This power is called the output power of the amplifier.
