Universal and Multifunctional
The MAX 2 can be connected to a camera/recorder via a mini-jack or to a smartphone/action camera/laptop via a Type-C cable. The transmitter has a built-in omnidirectional microphone, but if needed, you can use a lavalier mic with a special adapter.
