The i73 Pro One is inspired by the legendary British console module Heritage Audio 73. It utilizes a balanced Class A transformer circuit for achieving vintage sound. The i73 Pro One allows users to choose microphones from a creative perspective, not just based on technical specifications. It provides 70 dB of gain to work with any microphone, including passive ribbon microphones with low output levels.
The audio interface features a JFET DI input for Hi-Z instruments, a combination TRS/XLR input with Class A preamplifier, a 1/4" TRS line input, two 1/4" TRS outputs for monitoring, Mini-DIN MIDI input/output, DSP processor with effects, and Heritage Audio MIXER software.
The front panel includes a dedicated JFET Hi-Z DI input for connecting acoustic guitars with piezo-electric pickups, electric guitars, and bass guitars. The rear panel allows connection of any line sources through the 1/4" XLR combined input. There are also TRS outputs for connecting studio monitors and headphones. The i73 Pro One is equipped with a built-in virtual mixer based on DSP technology, operating with ultra-low latency, providing flexible monitoring through studio monitors or headphones with the ability to customize individual mixes.
