HeadMade SS Series Cables and Adapters
HeadMade SS series adapters are handcrafted using top-class materials. American acoustic silver 686 alloy is made up of 68.6% silver with traces of other colored and precious metals (gold, platinum, among others) and Oyaide copper. Oyaide copper, 99.9999999% purified, with 60 strands of 0.016 mm each (102SSC grade), undergoes additional purification and triple surface polishing of the strands. The elastic silicon-ceramic braid gives the cable remarkable flexibility and softness.
Each SS-20 conductor consists of 42 silver strands with a diameter of 0.18 mm and Oyaide copper (99.9999999% purified) with 60 strands of 0.016 mm each (produced exclusively upon our request). The total number of strands is 408.
Composition:
The conductors are interlaced with standard acoustic plaiting, covered in a triple-braided nylon sheath of American production. The nylon triple braid Multifilament significantly enhances the mechanical protection of the cables for constant use even in extreme conditions. Gold-plated standard headphone connectors are used. For some headphone models, upon customer request, HI-End connectors from Nobunaga Labs or Oyaide companies can be installed, increasing the cable cost by the connector price.
