HeadMade SS headphone cables series are handmade using top-quality materials. American acoustic silver 686 grade is an alloy consisting of 68.6% silver with traces of other colored and precious metals (gold, platinum, and others) and Oyaide copper. The Oyaide copper, with a purity of 99.9999999% on each contact, consists of 60 strands of 0.016 mm (copper grade 102SSC) that undergo an additional purification stage and triple polishing of the strand surface. The elastic silicon-ceramic braid provides remarkable flexibility and softness to the cable.
Each SS-20 conductor consists of 42 silver strands with a cross-section of 0.18 mm and Oyaide copper (99.9999999% purity) with 60 strands of 0.016 mm (exclusively manufactured to our order). The total number of strands is 408.
Composition:
The conductors are interwoven with standard acoustic braiding in a triple-braided nylon braid of American manufacture. The triple-braided nylon - Multifilament significantly enhances the mechanical protection of the cables when used continuously even in extreme conditions. Installed connectors is standard and gold-plated.
