The Genelec W371AP is an active studio smart subwoofer designed to integrate with the 8341, 8351, and 8361 series The Ones monitors. Combining this subwoofer with these models offers a range of full-range solutions, delivering unparalleled sound neutrality and providing extensive control over sound directionality and room acoustics effects. The subwoofer features a 14" low-frequency driver located on the front panel and a 12" low-frequency driver facing backward. This driver configuration opens up new possibilities for precise system tuning to the room, ensuring a smoother response and a more discernible low-frequency sound image.

The Genelec W371AP offers three operating modes. One (Complementary) provides a flat and neutral low-frequency response, another (Continued Directivity) utilizes both woofers simultaneously to create consistent directivity aligned with the monitor, and the third (Anti-reflection) minimizes the negative impact of sound reflections from walls, floors, and ceilings. To optimize the signal after selecting the subwoofer's placement, the GLM software's auto-calibration function is used. The subwoofer is equipped with analog inputs and outputs with XLR connectors, AES/EBU inputs and outputs with XLR connectors, and two RJ45 connectors for control.
