Genelec GLM 2.0 is a set for auto-calibration and management of SAM monitors and subwoofers. It includes the GLM network adapter, a microphone with a holder, a USB cable, and a GLM network cable. The GLM 2.0 Loudspeaker Manager is available for download after purchasing this set. GLM 2.0 is a network management system for monitors that can control up to 30 SAM studio monitors and subwoofers.

The GLM software is compatible with Windows and Mac OS and features level adjustment, distance delay control, and a flexible system for room response alignment compensation with the automated AutoCal calibration system. Each monitor group has its own AutoCal calibration file. It provides a comprehensive fully automated process of measuring, analyzing, and correcting each monitor in the GLM management network.
The user interface of Genelec GLM 2.0 is designed for quick and easy setup. The system adapts SAM monitors to different environments and provides neutral sound reproduction with a flat frequency response. All parameters and settings are saved in system configuration files or in each individual monitor/subwoofer if network GLM needs to be disabled. The set includes a Genelec 8300A microphone for acoustic measurement, factory calibrated.
Managing the sound system using a computer and the Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) program, to which studio monitors and subwoofers are connected through special RJ45 connectors on each of them, significantly expands the capabilities of managing the entire system and each individual device in it.
The high-precision automated AutoCal™ calibration system allows for analyzing, controlling, and adjusting the settings of each monitor and subwoofer in the studio using the special calibrated Genelec 8300A microphone included in the set. All parameters and settings for each device are saved in system files, and if the system needs to be disconnected, they can be saved separately on each monitor or subwoofer.
When using GLM, the Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS™) function can also be applied. In this case, the monitors will automatically turn on when an input signal is detected. When using ISS in standby mode, energy consumption of studio monitors is minimal (less than 0.5 W).
