Genelec 8331A is a premium active three-way nearfield monitor designed for applications requiring high-precision sound with extended frequency response, as well as working distortion-free for extended periods. The Ones series includes monitors 8331, 8341 and 8351 with uncompromising sound. The monitor can be placed both horizontally and vertically.

8331A is made of specially shaped cast aluminum using MDE (Minimum Diffraction Enclosure) technology, while weighing comparable to competitors made of MDF and composite materials. The signature Iso-Pod stand is designed to reduce vibrations and deliver the cleanest sound to the listener.
The dispersion of Genelec 8331A is controlled over an unusually wide frequency range thanks to a large built-in waveguide with Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) technology, with the ability to adjust the waveguide configuration to amplifiers. The monitor's main features include triple amplification (tri-amp) scheme: separately amplifying the signal for low and mid frequencies, as well as high frequencies. With a hidden double coaxial driver with Minimal Diffraction Coaxial (MDC) and Acoustically Concealed Woofers (ACW) technology, this speaker opens up new sound possibilities.
The system includes the most advanced Smart Active Monitoring (SAM) adaptive monitoring technology with AutoCal auto-calibration technology. The Genelec Loudspeaker Manager 2.0 (GLM) software allows for precise individual adjustment of up to 30 intelligent monitors and a smart subwoofer to facilitate multi-channel setup.
