The Furutech FI-46 NCF (G) power connector features a housing made of a nylon-glass composite with the addition of the proprietary material Nano Crystal Formula (NCF). According to the company, NCF is created based on a "special crystalline material" that has two active properties: the ability to "generate negative ions that eliminate static electricity and convert thermal energy into far infrared radiation." Furutech has applied this material in combination with "nanoscale ceramic particles and carbon powder."
