Furutech CF-102 NCF (R) RCA Audio Connector
The Furutech CF-102 NCF (R) is an RCA type high-performance "signal" connector. It is the first connector from Furutech to utilize the Nano Crystal² (NCF) formula. This material is the result of over 30 years of Furutech's efforts to eliminate electrical and mechanical resonance when transmitting signals and power in high-end audio and video systems.

α (Alpha) OCC solid core conductor (made of alpha monocrystalline copper) with rhodium plating, injected with Furutech's NCF material, incorporated into selected Furutech products. NCF is a unique crystalline material with two "active" properties. Firstly, it generates negative ions to eliminate static charge. Secondly, it converts thermal energy into far infrared range. Furutech combines this remarkable material with nanoscale ceramic particles and carbon powder for additional damping properties due to the "piezoelectric effect". The resulting Nano Crystal² formula is an ideal electrical and mechanical damping material. Developed by Furutech, it is exclusively used in Furutech products.
Two-stage cryogenic treatment and demagnetization.
Using advanced technologies and materials, Furutech has developed a low-temperature two-stage process that significantly enhances all aspects of sound and video quality. The treatment begins during manufacturing with deep cryogenic freezing of all metal parts. Using high-quality refrigerant - liquid N2 or He - Furutech achieves temperatures from -196 to -250 ℃. Processed parts actually change their molecular structure at these extreme temperatures, relieving internal stress. Molecules bond more tightly, and the overall structure becomes more stable. This improves conductivity, and thus power and signal transmission. In the second stage of the alpha process, these same parts undergo patented ring demagnetization treatment. Typical powerful magnets used for this purpose often intensify magnetic effects, leaving some areas more magnetized than others. This patented process uses controlled attenuation to remove magnetism, providing immediate bright and colorful enhancements. Demagnetization further increases the conductivity of all processed materials. ALL metal parts used in Furutech products undergo the Alpha Process to ensure all connectors, conductors, and metal parts are in an ideal, stable, and highly conductive state without internal stresses.
