Description

Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen is a two-channel USB 2.0 audio interface. It features a single microphone preamp and a Hi-Z input, allowing direct recording of guitar or bass without a DI box. The converters provide a dynamic range of 120 dB and signal conversion at a sampling rate of 24-bit / 192 kHz.

Features:

  • Compact interface for songwriters, podcasters, and guitarists.
  • Compatible with Mac/Windows/iPadOS.
  • Hi-Z input.
  • ADC/DAC conversion with a sampling rate of up to 24-bit / 192 kHz.
  • Loopback function.
  • 1 x Scarlett microphone preamp.
  • Air mode for recording brighter and more open sound.

The Focusrite Scarlett Solo is equipped with the fourth-generation Scarlett microphone preamp with an additional Air setting that replicates the sound of the original ISA microphone preamp. As a result, vocals and acoustic guitars have a brighter and more open sound.

The Loopback function allows you to mix audio from running applications on your computer with the recorded signal. Additionally, the Solo can now operate independently without a computer in monitoring mode.

The high-impedance instrument input with ample headroom allows you to record electric or bass guitar without clipping or unwanted distortion. The Gain Halo input level indicator helps set the correct input level.

The Scarlett Solo connects directly to your Mac or PC via a USB cable without requiring an external power source. The package includes software: Pro Tools Artist, Ableton Live Lite, Focusrite Hitmaker Expansion, Auto-Tune Access, Softube Marshall Silver Jubilee 2555, Native Instruments MASSIVE. Users also have access to subscriptions for Splice and LANDR services.

Package includes:

  • Audio interface.
  • USB-C cable.
  • Software: Ableton Live, Avid Pro Tools, Hitmaker Expansion.
  • Documentation.
