Kinetic Bass
The new series introduces the innovative Kinetic Bass technology. This hybrid sound conduction system takes IEM sound to a whole new level.
Kinetic Bass is a hybrid low-frequency sound conduction system that combines air conduction and bone conduction. Traditional listening involves hearing sound through both the air and bone conduction. Hybrid conduction is the combination of these two methods.
The Kinetic Bass technology features an open 10mm dynamic driver integrated into the outer part of the IEM casing. The driver contacts the cartilage of the ear, converting low-frequency sound into kinetic energy that reaches the inner ear through bone conduction. This results in the bass acquiring additional depth and complexity.
Open Acoustics System
Open drivers emit sound waves directly into the Sound Reactor - an acoustically shaped chamber that directs sound waves straight into the ear canal of the listener. Instead of using dampers and tubes like most headphones, only natural acoustics are utilized, reducing unwanted resonances. Thus, the Open Acoustics technology provides an expanded soundstage and a more natural sound perception, especially in the high-frequency range.
ATOM Venting Technology
The ATOM air pressure reduction technology module releases excess air pressure formed during the movement of the driver diaphragms. By preventing the eardrums from compacting due to this air pressure, users can listen to music for longer with less fatigue. A wide and natural soundstage is achieved, similar to open-back headphones, without losing the advantages of closed monitors.
Rigid Technologies
Rigid Technologies encompass external modules developed by Fir Audio, enhancing reliability, durability, and ease of maintenance. Featuring resilient connectors, the Rigid 2-Pin connector is designed for over 1000 connections. The enhanced square socket prevents connector looseness and is compatible with any 2-pin connectors.
Protective Features
The Rigid Snap Screen protective grille shields the driver from dust and debris. Acoustically transparent, the grille has no impact on sound quality. Cleaning and replacing the grille require no special skills or service.
