FIR Audio celebrates five years striving to create the perfect in-ear monitors. The Radon 6 is a new addition to the Frontier series with Kinetic Bass, open acoustics, ATOM ventilation, and cutting-edge technologies. They feature a brand-new black aluminum body, stunning sapphire glass faceplates, and a tribrid driver system.
The tribrid system consists of open-chambered OpenDrivers with balanced armatures, a super high electrostatic tweeter, and a dynamic driver with the revolutionary Kinetic Bass technology - all working in perfect harmony.
The Radon 6 also includes the patented Open Acoustics system, which removes all internal sound tubes, significantly expanding the soundstage. The ATOM ventilation technology releases air pressure created in the ear canal, reducing listener fatigue. Plus, the Rigid Technologies allow FIR Audio to craft the most durable In-Ear Monitors on the market.
What is Kinetic Bass and hybrid conductivity? Traditional in-ear monitors often lack depth in sound because they only provide half the sound. When you naturally listen to music, you hear sound in two ways: through air conduction and bone conduction. Air conduction is the sound you hear through the eardrums. Bone conduction is sound transmitted through the bones of the head, reaching the inner ear (cochlea). Hybrid conductivity is when you hear both air and bone conduction. Kinetic Bass adds a bone conduction element to the listening experience, offering listeners deeper impressions.
ATOM XS Ventilation Releases harmful air pressure from inside the sealed ear canal. Your eardrums remain relaxed, allowing you to listen to music longer without discomfort. The soundstage also widens and sounds more natural.
Open Acoustic System The Open Acoustic technology consists of three main parts: open drivers, sound reactors, and sound reflectors. This provides smooth, airy high frequencies with extended treble, allowing clear and natural sound to freely enter the ear canal.
Kinetic Bass The 10mm dynamic driver is directed outside the headphones' housing, allowing low frequencies to be transmitted directly to the ear cartilage. This results in bass that can be felt, with increased dimensionality and overwhelming low-frequency extension.
