Specially designed body
The FH7 model's body is made of an aerospace-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy and shaped using a five-axis CNC machining process. The alloy undergoes 21 stages to achieve the final shell construction. In total, there are 3873 cuts, after which a final sandblasting and manual polishing process is performed. The creation of the body has undergone numerous tests to obtain an optimized shape and ensure a comfortable fit for all users.
To achieve maximum performance, powerful drivers must be enclosed in a sturdy shell. The FH7 uses an exceptionally rigid three-point construction to significantly reduce unwanted resonances and distortions, resulting in an extremely clean sound.
Stunning on the outside, powerful on the inside The FH7 features 4 Knowles balanced armature drivers combined with a beryllium dynamic driver that perfectly cover all parts of the sound frequency spectrum, thanks to the advanced crossover design and S.turbo v2.0 acoustic design.
The exceptional sound consists of:
- High frequencies: the frequency range is processed by the Knowles SWFK-31736 BA driver, commonly used in high-class in-ear monitors. This driver is extremely detailed, yet not sharp, providing a natural, crystal-clear sound.
- Mid frequencies: this task is handled by a special BA driver developed by FiiO and Knowles in collaboration. FiiO took the classic Knowles 30017 driver and tuned it to give the midrange more volume, for fuller and brighter vocals, as well as a wider soundstage.
- Low frequencies: a large 13.6mm driver made of beryllium, known for its lightness, delicacy, and exceptional rigidity, resulting in such powerful, deep bass.
S.turbo v2.0 The FH7 uses the second-generation patented acoustic design - S.turbo v2.0, which allows to achieve the best sound quality from the dynamic driver. The precisely shaped long acoustic tubes provide deep and powerful bass that excites from the first few seconds of listening.
Crossover
The FH7 features a complex crossover design that was not easy to create and implement. However, it was worth it. Due to the extremely precise tuning of the crossover, the five drivers can work together, maximizing their potential, with an extremely coherent and smooth frequency response.
Without unnecessary pressure Thanks to the optimized design, the pressure in the front and rear chambers of the earphone is balanced, avoiding discomfort due to excessive pressure on the eardrums.
Sound that suits you Ideal sound is different for each user, so the package includes 3 pairs of sound filters. Red filters provide bass enhancement, black filters provide balanced sound, and green filters enhance high frequency detail.
Eight strands of pure sound The earphones come with an 8-core cable made of single crystal silver-plated copper, providing the best sound quality right out of the box. The connectors are marked with red and blue for easy cable replacement.
