Description
The FiiO FB1 wireless in-ear headphones are equipped with a CSR8645 Bluetooth chip. They support Bluetooth version 4.1 and codecs such as AAC, SBC, and aptX, which allows for sound quality similar to CD. The wireless reception range reaches up to twenty meters. The headphones can be paired simultaneously with two sources and allow for quick switching between them.
The construction features large 13mm dynamic drivers that have been specially tuned for comfortable listening to popular music. According to the manufacturer, this provides excellently balanced sound with pleasant highs, well-defined bass, and a wide soundstage.
The FiiO FB1 headphones are lightweight at only twenty grams and have a special ergonomic design with rounded shapes and special hooks to ensure a comfortable and secure fit in the ear canal. The set includes several pairs of different-sized hooks, as well as three pairs of ear tips (S, M, L). The bodies have a special nano-coating, which, according to FiiO, provides a soft tactile feel against the skin, helps resist stains and minor scratches, and allows for easy cleaning.
The earpieces are connected by a cable with a three-button remote. The remote features a high-quality microphone for answering calls. The main multifunction button in the center activates the headphones, controls playback, call answers, Bluetooth pairing, and allows instant switching between two paired devices. The other two buttons are for volume adjustment and track control. There is an LED indicator next to the main button.
The remote includes a lithium-polymer battery that provides up to 8 hours of continuous use. A full charge via the integrated Micro-USB port takes about two hours, with quick charging available for 10 minutes of use on one hour of battery life. When paired with Apple devices, the battery level of the headphones is displayed on the screens of those devices. A small zippered case is included for storing the FiiO FB1. The company highlights that the headphones underwent numerous tests during development and are therefore highly reliable.
