Freedom in Connection Choices Turn your Bluetooth device into part of a Hi-Res Wireless system by simply connecting it to the BTR5. With Bluetooth version 5.0 support for high-resolution formats like aptX HD, LDAC up to 96 kHz, and standard AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX low latency, you can have a fully portable yet superior sounding setup with your current device!

Features to Satisfy the Demanding Audiophile The Qualcomm CSR8675 chip in the BTR5 is a low-power Bluetooth chip with advanced audio capabilities such as 24-bit sound processing and a 120MHz DSP, allowing it to easily handle various Bluetooth decoding functions. Thanks to this Bluetooth chip, you can enjoy excellent sound quality whether watching videos, playing games, or listening to music.

Easy Handling The FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array), often used in high-quality music players, is responsible for transmitting and receiving digital audio signals from Bluetooth and USB, as well as managing the clock frequency. In the BTR5, after processing the Bluetooth signal, the FPGA significantly reduces jitter and improves signal stability, solving the issue of different clock rates between different parts of the sound architecture.

Independent Dual Quartz Generators for Accurate Sound Reproduction With the addition of dedicated dual crystal generators of 45.1584 and 49.152 MHz during Bluetooth and USB decoding, the BTR5 can more accurately reproduce audio signals at different sampling frequencies, ensuring exceptional sound reproduction accuracy among Bluetooth amplifiers.

Two Latest ES9219C Chips Thanks to precise clock rate management and synchronous mode installation, the full potential of the latest ESS Sabre ES9219C chip is fully realized for extremely detailed sound reproduction. Multi-level analog amplification and digital volume control are combined into a single dual-volume adjustment design, allowing you to more precisely adjust the volume while fully preserving the dynamic range in your music. With two DACs working together on the balanced output, the BTR5 has an output power of 240mW at 32 ohms and 7.6Vpp at 300 ohms.

Support for 384 kHz and DSD256 via High-Performance USB In addition to supporting lossless Bluetooth formats, the BTR5 is also a capable device when it comes to USB decoding. Using an independent XMOS XUF208 control chip, the BTR5 is capable of asynchronous decoding of USB Audio Class 2.0. When connected as a USB DAC via the USB Type-C port, the BTR5 can decode sampling rates up to 384 kHz and native DSD256. The USB DAC functionality supports two modes: driverless mode and high-performance mode.

Flagship-Quality Balance For greater power and detailed resolution, the BTR5 offers both balanced and unbalanced outputs. In its truly balanced sound architecture, each channel is driven separately, with its own DAC and amplifier, allowing the BTR5 to create a cleaner sound with unmatched refinement and balance.

Show off Your Beauty to Everyone One display that shows it all - the main feature of the BTR5. It's a clear OLED screen with a resolution of 64x32 and a size of 0.49 inches, displaying various information. With the display, you can access a menu that allows you to visually view and adjust charge status, enable car mode, change filters and equalizer, and more.

Smooth Silky Surface With a sleek aluminum alloy body like the latest smartphones and curved glass on the front and back with an oleophobic coating for smooth silky touch and fingerprint prevention, the BTR5 is a visual ornament that complements your style well.

All-Day Use On the Go With a built-in 550mAh battery, the BTR5 only takes 1.5 hours for a full charge, providing up to 9 hours of playback time when using the 3.5mm output.

High-Quality Sound during Calls. 2 Microphones with cVc 8.0 Noise Cancellation System While the BTR5 has a built-in omnidirectional high-sensitivity microphone, you can use an external microphone in a 3.5mm CTIA headset. When you plug in such a headset, the BTR5 automatically recognizes that you want to use these headphones and smoothly switches the microphones. When using any microphone, you can take advantage of the cVc 8.0 noise cancellation technology, which intelligently adjusts microphone gain and effectively suppresses background noise for crystal-clear calls.

Profile that Remembers Your Settings When you connect the BTR5 to your phone, the phone volume and BTR5 volume can be adjusted separately, allowing you to fine-tune the volume according to your needs. The BTR5 also remembers the desired volume, so you do not need to readjust it every time you use the device. When paired with an iOS device, you can view the remaining battery charge in a widget.

Your Smart Companion When you plug headphones into the BTR5, it can determine which type you are using and automatically adjust the output. When disconnecting headphones, it automatically pauses playback and goes into low power mode to save battery. When you connect headphones with CTIA control elements, you can use the microphone, as well as playback/pause, volume, and track selection controls.

Easy Connection The built-in NFC in the BTR5 allows for simple pairing with other compatible devices with just a touch, avoiding the clumsy manual pairing process.

One Button Does It All The multifunctional button works just as its name suggests - use it for: connection, playback, pause, call answer, call end, cancellation, pairing, voice assistant activation. After disconnecting via Bluetooth from another device, simply press the multifunctional button briefly to pair with another device. When connected to a phone, double-click the multifunctional button to use the voice assistant.

Software Capabilities Download the FiiO Music App for remote control of channel balance, switching between four different DAC low-frequency filters, or adjusting the 10-band equalizer.

Carry with Style The BTR5 comes with a case that not only provides 360° all-around protection but also has a detachable rear clip, allowing you to carry it vertically or horizontally. If you prefer to tuck the BTR5 into your pocket or bag, it is compatible with external microphones and remote control buttons, so nothing will stop you from using all functions.

Power output

This is the useful power developed by the amplifier in the load resistance. Amplifiers are usually characterized by the highest power that can be obtained at the output, provided that the distortion does not exceed the specified permissible value. This power is called the output power of the amplifier.
