The Courbet N 3 achieves even greater dynamics and brightness in sound thanks to a completely new tweeter that covers the entire range. Additionally, the Courbet N 3 comes with special high-quality additional feet, which always enhance their precision.
The small driver caliber allowed for narrowing the front panel, which is not only beneficial for sound (minimizing early reflections) but also aesthetically pleasing – these speakers fit seamlessly into any interior. Fabric grilles covering the entire front panel are attached with magnets. The TW28LD tweeter was specially designed for the Courbet series. The 28mm fabric dome tweeter is impregnated with a damping compound, and the reinforced magnetic system has air channels for cooling the voice coil.
Soft dome tweeter
The upper part of the system includes a 1-inch soft dome tweeter with ferrofluid-cooled suspension, providing high detail and accuracy in reproducing high frequencies, as well as a wide sound dispersion.
Kevlar woofer with long excursion
The rear emission of the dome is directed into a narrowing waveguide, which suppresses resonance peaks. The mid-range driver with a large excursion of the diffuser gives solidity to the sound, as well as drive and dynamics overall. The sound cannot be called dull or overly neutral – it is lively in moderation, with rich tones and a clear, distinct rhythm. The five-inch (13 cm) mid-range driver has a Kevlar diffuser. Kevlar is also a fabric, but much stronger than carbon fiber (we all know about bulletproof vests) and lightweight. These same drivers are used as mid-bass in the Olympia One Master bookshelf monitors, which won the prestigious "Golden Camerton" award two years ago.
The Courbet speaker system cabinet is made of high-quality plywood with internal dividers to minimize vibration and resonance. It has a stylish and elegant design that fits in any interior.
The speaker system has high sensitivity, allowing it to work with a power of up to 100 W. Impedance is 4 Ohms, allowing it to be connected to most audio amplifiers.
