The Atmosphere MK2 is a “bi-polar” surround speaker model, that is to say it has speakers directed at different planes. It is this technique well known to home cinema specialists, that Davis Acoustics chose to design this surround model. The enclosure is to be positioned at 3 4 of the room height (1.80 m from the floor for a ceiling height of 2.40 m for example).

Davis Acoustics Atmosphere MKII is designed to reproduce home theater surround sound effects. It is a two-way speaker and can be used as a rear surround speaker in a 7.1 home theater system and as a surround speaker in a 5.1 system.
This model is the ideal complement of the DHAVANI MK2 or MANI MK2 (for main tracks) and the central track STENTAURE MK2.All these models have the same tweeter for greater sound cohesion.
Once seated, the listener will have a «surround» sound that will walk over his head, without being able to precisely determine the source of the emitter. It is this absence of a reference that will immerse the viewer in the soundtrack of the film or concert, and give him the impression of being immersed in the action, as in a real cinema.
Position this speaker on the wall, in a perfectly symmetrical way (either on the sides, at the sofa level or on the back wall). The speaker is equipped with 2 wall fasteners that allow it to be easily fixed on the wall, using two screws.
This model is a worthy successor to the Davis Atmosphere. However, this unit demonstrates better handling and accurate music reproduction.
