The Dan Clark Audio CORINA is a set of electrostatic headphones that sets a new standard in providing electrostatic resolution with natural tonal reproduction, thanks to the patented DCA Acoustic Metamaterial Tuning System (AMTS).
The CORINA headphones feature a self-adjusting headband design and new ergonomic earpads, including a suede surface that reduces heat and moisture buildup.

CORINA represents the first Dan Clark electrostatic headphones to incorporate the groundbreaking AMTS (Advanced Metamaterial Tuning System) technology, previously introduced in the Stealth and Expanse models. Thanks to AMTS, the frequency response of the CORINA headphones is significantly smoother in the mid and high frequencies, without irritating peaks or dips, resulting in a more seamless, detailed, and enjoyable listening experience.
AMTS allows CORINA to redefine electrostatic sound to provide the most natural midrange frequencies achievable in electrostatic headphones today. From powerful bass to incredibly rich and well-balanced mid and high frequencies, CORINA delivers smooth and realistic sound with full electrostatic resolution, without the characteristic emphasis on high frequencies found in many electrostatic headphones.
New Sound
With a wider and deeper soundstage, a more powerful low end, and smooth and rich midrange, CORINA produces a vibrant yet realistic tone, with luxurious vocals and bass that truly impress. Unlike many electrostatic drivers, CORINA pairs exceptionally well with electronic and rock genres.
New Driver Manufacturing Process
To ensure maximum consistency between units, CORINA's 88mm drivers are manufactured using a new tensioning system that increases membrane tension and uniformity. These drivers are then meticulously matched to provide outstanding soundstage and imaging.
Earpad Selection
The new earpads have been designed with improved ergonomics, including a synthetic suede surface for contact with the face, ensuring sweat and hot spots are avoided. However, earpads are not just about comfort. As most listeners know, they can significantly impact the sound of headphones. While the drivers can be precisely matched, earpads made of stitched fabric and foam have always limited the sound of headphones. All new CORINA earpads are supplied as matched pairs to further tighten tolerances between the left and right channels and reduce variations from device to device.
Comfort
CORINA features the new self-adjusting headband design from flagship Stealth and Expanse headphones, providing an incredibly comfortable fit that requires minimal effort. Combined with the new earpads and the signature titanium alloy headband construction, CORINA is incredibly comfortable to wear.
New Industrial Design
Dan Clark Audio has always taken pride in industrial design, and CORINA is no exception. The stunning new gray finish and protective mesh of CORINA are visually pleasing.
High-Quality Cable
Unlike traditional flat ribbon electrostatic cables, which are heavy and cumbersome, the CORINA cable is round, lightweight, flexible, and microphonic-free. The connector is made of processed Teflon, with processed copper (OFC) gold-plated contacts, and the cable is a fully customized design using silver-plated conductors for optimal sound. The cables can be replaced by the owner.
