Compact center channel speaker DALI Opticon Vokal MK2 is fully matched in sound with other models of this series and can be used in high-end home theaters. The speaker's cabinet is made of selected MDF (front panel thickness is 25 mm) and has deep internal damping to eliminate wall vibration. The exterior finish of DALI Opticon Vokal MK2 is done in the same options as the other models in this series, with the speakers being produced entirely at the company's factory in Denmark.
The front panel of DALI Opticon Vokal MK2 features only one 6.5-inch bass driver, instead of the two woofers usually found in speakers of this class. However, this design makes the model compact enough for convenient placement even in limited spaces, and the large size of the woofer ensures dynamic and rich sound. The bass driver has a wood fiber paper cone with a rubber surround, and its construction is the same as in other speakers of the series. Additionally, there are two slotted bass ports on the front panel of DALI Opticon Vokal MK2, providing an extended low-frequency range and allowing the speaker to be placed in enclosed spaces without compromising bass quality.
This model features a combined tweeter section, identical to the floorstanding models of the series. It consists of a dome tweeter and a ribbon super tweeter, significantly expanding the speaker's frequency range. The orientation of these two drivers in DALI Opticon Vokal MK2 is vertical, resulting in a uniform radiation pattern even for viewers sitting off-center. The speaker delivers a pleasant sound with articulate midrange frequencies and convincing bass, blending seamlessly into a modern home theater system.
