The Townus 100 speakers are characterised by rounded cabinet edges that not only optimise sound dispersion, but also give them a modern and elegant look. The screwless integration of the four drivers into the 230 millimetre wide baffle is achieved using high-quality aluminium rings manufactured using the seamless diamond-cut process.
This creates a seamless and aesthetically pleasing look. The Townus 100 models offer further visual highlights such as generously rounded, sound-transparent fabric panels that adhere magnetically to the baffles and slim plinths with four height-adjustable metal feet that provide a solid base for the floor-standing speakers. The large bass reflex channels in a downfire arrangement are concealed in the base of the enclosure and stimulate the listening room acoustically evenly and effectively.
The Townus 100 flagship models are characterised by their effective design, which features multiple bracing inside the enclosure. The midrange drivers are positioned at the top of the baffles and have separate volumes. As a result, the cabinets offer the high-quality drivers with titanium cones ideal conditions for a powerful sound image with dynamic bass and detailed mids.
The bass drivers have stiff and low-distortion double-cone cones with low-loss wave surrounds, which enables the Townus 100 loudspeakers to always play precisely, even at high volumes. Thanks to the patented SC technology, the 192 mm bass duo in the downfire bass reflex cabinet ensures powerful and precise bass without the bass speaker cones deflecting uncontrollably at low frequencies. A precisely calculated waveguide optimises the sound dispersion and coupling of the 25 mm tweeter with aluminium oxide ceramic, resulting in improved reproduction up to 40,000 hertz.
