Acoustic Optimization
Combining a front-firing woofer and a passive radiator, the Reference Sub is designed to deliver accurate sound at all volume levels. Its 308mm drivers have triple-folded wave surrounds, providing greater amplitude and reducing sound distortion. High or low-level inputs allow adjusting volume, crossover frequency, and phase using the active module. Weighing 37 kg, the Subwoofer also features an automatic on/off switch.

The Reference Sub is a front-firing woofer and downward-firing passive radiator subwoofer. For precise and confident operation at any volume level, the 308mm drivers are suspended in triple-folded wave surrounds of the latest generation.
Compared to conventional surrounds, wave surrounds provide much greater amplitude and reduce sound distortion. Connect to an amplifier or AV receiver via high or low-level inputs. Volume level, crossover frequency, and phase can be smoothly adjusted on the powerful active module on the back panel of the subwoofer. Technical equipment of the 37-kg Reference Subwoofer is complemented by an automatic switch-off.
