The new Reference Alpha models are equipped with a tweeter with a diamond dome, and diamond coating is also used in the construction of the mid-range driver diaphragm, which has made it slightly thinner and more durable. Just like in the limited edition Canton Reference GS, the low-frequency drivers feature the signature BCT (Black Ceramic Tungsten) diaphragms. According to the developers, the crossover has been optimized and the internal wiring has been replaced. The positioning of the stiffness ribs inside the enclosure has also been modified, allowing for an increase in the useful internal volume.
