Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 Ohms
The legendary DT 770/880/990 series dates back to 1981 when the DT 880 model was released - the first dynamic headphones with electrostatic characteristics. This was followed by the DT 770 and 990 models in 1985, completing the series and providing the market with maximum flexibility and choices of closed (DT 770), semi-open (DT 880), and open (DT 990) headphones.
Features:
- Studio headphones with excellent frequency response across the range.
- Bass Reflex technology for more voluminous and "breathing" bass.
- Impedance of 250 Ohms.
- Comfortable fitting due to the adjustable padded headband and soft velour earpads.
- Robust spring steel headband.
- Some of the most reliable professional headphones, easy to maintain as all parts are replaceable.
- Coiled single-sided cable made of oxygen-free copper (99.999%) with a gold-plated 3.5mm jack.
The first versions of the headphones had a plastic headband, durable but not as much as required. In the early 1990s, the first professional models (PRO) were introduced with spring steel headbands, aluminum forks, and an extremely durable ABS plastic construction. Since then, this Beyerdynamic lineup has captivated the world. Today, DT 770/880/990 model headphones can be found everywhere: in recording studios and live broadcasts, as well as in the homes of music lovers and audiophiles.
The Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO closed-back dynamic headphones were designed with the requirements and preferences of professional sound engineers and performers in mind. No wonder that the model has been a standard in the professional audio industry for over 20 years! Specifically for studio or stage work, the headband of the DT 770 PRO model provides secure fixation, while the velour earpads and lightweight design ensure comfort during extended use.
The DT 770 PRO headphones are known for their excellent noise isolation, essential for working with highly sensitive microphones. The low-mass voice coil paired with the membrane of the DT 770 PRO produces sound comparable only to more expensive electrostatic headphones. Additionally, the headphones feature Bass Reflex technology - small openings allow the diaphragm to "breathe," resulting in better reproduction of low and high frequencies (as the diaphragm can move much more freely).
Though some degree of noise isolation is sacrificed, the already excellent sound of the DT 770 PRO becomes even better! Combined with a carefully tuned frequency response, the model offers natural and balanced sound and comes in several impedance options (32/80/250 Ohms). These headphones excel with any style or type of music recordings. Handcrafted in Germany, Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO headphones are an excellent choice for professionals and anyone who values high quality and globally recognized sound.

- Can be used as a USB DAC.
- Decodes PCM384K/DSD256.
- Headphone outputs: 3.5mm, 2.5mm.
- Detailed sound and powerful bass.
Equipped with a USB decoding chip Xmos and using the mature and stable OPA926 driver chip, the DAC chip utilizes the flagship model ESS ES9038Q2M for portable applications. The front panel features 2.5mm and 3.5mm outputs, with gain and bass frequency switches, volume control knob, and LED indicator. The rear panel includes a line output, coaxial and optical outputs, USB 1.0/2.0 switch, and USB Type-C connector for PC/smartphone connection.
This model features a USB receiver based on XMOS interface that can accept signals up to 32 bit / 384 kHz (PCM) and DSD256. A two-color LED is used to determine the input signal type. The FiiO K3S can also function as a DAC for a desktop computer or laptop, making it a truly versatile device. The DAC features a dual oscillator that processes data extremely accurately, reducing jitter levels.
When listening to music, the bass is very well-controlled, powerful, and with a good impact. The bass resolution and attack are excellent, with impressive decay where the bass does not bleed out. The low frequencies sound very clean, as does the rest of the spectrum. The balance between mid and sub-bass is just right.
The all-black aluminum alloy body, processed by CNC and re-polished, then anodized and finely polished, is sturdy and textured. It is designed according to USB power source specifications, separating the internal digital and analog parts of the power source to effectively avoid power source fluctuations.
Package includes:
- Headphone amplifier.
- Documentation.
