Auris Bayadere 3 is a vinyl player with a 9’’ Terza W9 tonearm. The name "Bayadere" (from the Portuguese word "bailhadera") is a European term that refers to devadasis, dancers from India dressed in vibrant costumes. Inspired by the fabric of devadasis' dresses, Auris Bayadere 3 itself is a musical temple, sturdy and elegant with exceptional design, combining layers of high-quality aluminum and the glossy artificial stone kerrock, reminiscent of colorful stripes of Indian silk.

Bayadere 3 is a well-balanced vinyl player. Its main plate is set on leveling feet, precisely designed by Auris Audio engineers to provide reliable vibration isolation. To further reduce vibrations, the main bearing is built into a housing isolated from the base by a set of rubber rings. The main bearing is made of high-quality stainless steel with an embedded bronze cylinder, precisely installed to allow the disc to rotate with minimal resistance. The bearing is supported by a stable ceramic ball with a hardness of over 80 on the Rockwell scale, enabling the player to operate silently with a minimal amount of lubrication.
The Bayadere 3 chassis is made of Kerrock, an aluminum sandwich material. Kerrock is similar to Corian. (Kerrock is a composite material composed of aluminum hydroxide and a polymer binder on an acrylic base: it is composite, smooth, non-porous, and homogeneous).
Taking into account the experience of many vinyl player manufacturers, Auris Audio engineers decided to choose a synchronous AC motor, which is characterized by high rotational speed and stability. Bayadere 3 can be upgraded with an electronic speed controller. Bayadere 3 is equipped with a 9-inch tonearm made of carbon fiber and milled aluminum. The W9 tonearm moves thanks to a group of six ball bearings. The handle is built into the aluminum hinge with an anti-slip system, which is supported by two ball bearings with ultra-low friction and a 10mm VTA adjustment. The W9 tonearm uses conductors from the renowned Van den Hul cable company.
