The KANN MAX case is made from high-quality vegetable-tanned leather by renowned Italian designers Conceria Walpier and Badalassi Carlo, ensuring a high level of perfection that matches the design of the KANN MAX.
The case is available in three colors and wraps around the player, providing excellent protection and a secure grip with a perfect fit.
Conceria Walpier, founded in 1973 in San Miniato, Tuscany, Italy, has been operating for three generations and has a long tradition of producing leather goods using highly respected vegetable-tanning processes. The tannery only uses 100% raw leather imported from France and is a member of Vera Pelle, the Italian association of vegetable-tanned leather craftsmen.
Walpier's vegetable tanning is a traditional method of leather processing that has been passed down from father to son for centuries in the Tuscany region. The tanning process typically takes 40 days and is practiced exclusively by Italian leather craftsmen worldwide.
In addition, leather products that undergo vegetable-tanning gradually darken over time according to the owner's care, showcasing the user's lifestyle and making each product truly unique.
Badalassi Carlo is a tannery founded by Carlo Badalassi, who was a professor at the leather school in the Santa Croce region. The tannery has been producing leather for over 40 years, combining the traditional vegetable-tanning method developed in Tuscany with its unique theory and technology.
Vegetable leather processing is an environmentally friendly method of producing leather that requires a significant amount of time to complete by tanning the leather solely with plant extracts.
Badalassi Carlo's leather production uses the vacchetta technology, which was developed in Tuscany and then processed with vegetable oil for tanning.
