The controller can also function independently of a computer, allowing for idea recording without connecting to a computer or DAW. The model is equipped with eight CV/Gate outputs and two MIDI outputs, making it easy to integrate the controller into existing setups to control modular and traditional synthesizers.
The APC64 also operates as a standalone 32-step 8-track step sequencer and controller with three MIDI ports and eight CV/Gate outputs, allowing full control of synthesizers, drum machines, or modular devices.
