Multi-layered mineral low-frequency woofer
The low-frequency driver in the A series is made from a unique blend of mineral fiber stones, fused together to create a lightweight yet very durable material. The mineral composition, layer arrangement, and geometry of each cone depend on the driver model. The combination of this material with a new low-frequency magnetic system ensures high output with low distortion, providing clean low sound levels.
A series Waveguide
The A series HPS waveguide is made of polymer glass fiber, with a handcrafted X-ART tweeter located in the center to reproduce all sound nuances.
The A series combines the best of the digital and analog worlds. The low-frequency driver is equipped with a Class D amplifier for linear performance with reduced distortion. The amplifier was chosen for its power and efficiency, reducing heat dissipation for exceptional power and performance of the A series devices.
AB Class Amplifier-Tweeter
The tweeter is equipped with an AB class amplifier for smooth natural reproduction of high frequencies. Each amplifier is optimized for its working range, resulting in finely tuned and properly aligned drivers. ADAM Audio conducted extensive measurements and listening tests to achieve this goal.
DSP Module Electronics
The A series acoustic systems use the converting power of DSP-based electronics to provide greater tuning accuracy than analog drivers. With built-in software that can be updated via Ethernet connection, you can expect integration of the latest ADAM Audio DSP-based features over time, including new filter types and functions, as well as alternative sound profiling options.
Room Adaptation
On the back panel of the speaker, there are four adjustment ranges for room adaptation: low frequencies, desks, high presence frequencies. Each range is adjusted in pre-set steps, offering over 100 tuning options to help compensate for typical acoustical problems when placing speakers.
A Series Build
The A series cabinets are based on the heritage of ADAM Audio and the AX series. With an evolutionary cabinet design, the A series has deeper chamfers to further reduce diffraction. Additionally, thicker partitions reinforce the cabinet and reduce internal vibrations, while the expanding cabinet optimizes airflow and reduces noise levels. All A series speakers feature a bottom mounting interface, allowing you to place them wherever you need.
