ADAM A44H – an active 2-way nearfield monitor with a phased-inverted design featuring horizontal speaker orientation. With a 19-inch width, the horizontally oriented A44H can sit on a standard shelf or stand, or be mounted above or below a display.

Updated Design
The completely new design allows the A44H to be used as a center speaker in immersive and 3D configurations. Dual 4-inch woofers and X-ART tweeter provide a wide frequency range, while built-in DSP tuning capabilities make sound adjustments easy. The model features a high-precision X-ART tweeter handmade in Germany with a HPS waveguide and 130W peak power.
Functionality
The DSP-based features of all A Series monitors can be remotely controlled in real-time via Ethernet using A Control. Made from a new polymer-fiberglass compound, the HPS waveguide allows the X-ART tweeter to distribute sound with controlled consistency. The new A Series cabinets are based on ADAM Audio's heritage, specifically the AX series.
On the rear panel of the A Series monitors, you will find four frequency bands for room adaptation: bass, desk, presence, and high frequencies. Each band is adjustable with predefined steps, offering over 100 tuning options to help compensate for typical acoustic issues when placing monitors.
AB + D Amplifiers
A Series monitors come with both analog and digital amplifiers, offering the best of both technologies. In A44H, the low-frequency drivers are powered by a 110W Class D amplifier, which is highly efficient and helps reduce distortion. The tweeter is equipped with a 20W Class AB amplifier, providing smoother and more natural sound.
Bass-Reflex System, Cabinet, and Assembly
The new A Series cabinets are based on ADAM Audio's heritage and the AX series. In an evolutionary design, the A Series cabinets have deeper chamfers to further reduce diffraction. Thicker partitions strengthen the cabinet and reduce internal vibrations, while the expanding port design optimizes airflow and reduces noise level. All A Series speakers have mounting interfaces on the bottom for flexible mounting options.
