The Yamaha RX-A2A AV receiver is the entry-level model in the Aventage series, offering an optimal choice for equipping modern home theaters with a great balance of quality and price. The main feature of this AV receiver compared to the lower models in the series is the 7.2 configuration and support for new Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound formats. This model allows you to create a home theater where the sound surrounds viewers from all directions, including above. Additionally, the RX-A2A will support Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization with a future firmware update.

The Yamaha RX-A2A has seven HDMI inputs and one output that support 4K Ultra HD signals with Dolby Vision and HLG, as well as 8K signals on three of the seven inputs. The device also includes analog and digital inputs, allowing you to create an AV system with various signal sources. The amplifier uses discrete components with high output current and a wide dynamic range, along with high-class DACs. Yamaha's YPAO auto-calibration scheme is utilized for convenient multi-channel sound setup based on room listening conditions and acoustics. Reliable screw terminals for all speakers are conveniently located in the middle of the rear panel.
