The most significant of them is the design of the cabinet with non-parallel edges. The trapezoidal shape reduces horizontal standing waves, while the rounded top reduces vertical waves. The original speakers and crossover parts are made by technologies used in the legendary Soavo series. The NS-F700 three-way system uses a 16cm woofer and 13cm midbass with proprietary A-PMD (Advanced Polymer-injected Mica Diaphragm) cones. This white-colored composite material, composed of a polymer with added mica, is highly rigid at a weight significantly lower than commonly used polypropylene. The mica chips effectively suppress the internal resonances of the cone, which is essential for a clean, uncolored midrange.
The tweeter design is patented under the name DC-Diaphragm. It features a 28 mm aluminum dome and voice coil frame in one piece, resulting in better microdynamics and heat dissipation. The NS-F700's tall chassis tapers slightly upwards, with the top edge rounded and sloping towards the rear. Although the lack of parallel planes makes the design more complex, it prevents internal standing waves. The phase-inverter port is set backwards. Elegant grills in the form of a figure-eight are fixed on magnetic clamps. The model is available in brown veneer and piano lacquer.
The rated power of the speaker is 40 watts and the peak power can be 160 watts. The NS-F700 is therefore the ideal solution for organizing powerful stereo sound in 2.0/2.1 format. Use in multi-channel systems is also possible as a front speaker. The speaker cabinet is designed in a rectangular column shape with a tapered top plateau. The NS-F700's exterior finish is premium grade.
