Yamaha CD-S2100 is a classic CD player designed mainly for high quality Audio CD and Super Audio CD playback. It has a built-in USB interface, as well as digital and analog inputs and outputs. This player has exquisite sound quality and occupies a worthy place in the field of high quality equipment.
Digital-to-analog conversion is performed here by a 32-bit ES9016 chip from ESS Technology. The high quality of signal processing at this stage is ensured by the DAC's own precision clock generator, the original Jitter Elimination function, and the fact that the conversion is performed in parallel in eight channels (2 x 4).
Working with the signal received via USB interface (there is a corresponding port on the rear panel) is entrusted to the chip developed specially for Yamaha by German company Steinberg on the basis of professional protocol ASIO 2.3 with support for PCM stream with parameters up to 24 bit/192 kHz, as well as DSD-stream. Installing Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver (free download) on your computer will not cause any difficulties.
The front panel of the CD-S2100 Black is made of clad aluminum and is equipped with all the necessary controls. The center section contains the CD changer itself and the digital display. The rear panel is equipped with two unbalanced RCA outputs (left/right), two balanced XLR, digital I/O Coaxial and Optical, as well as additional connectors for connecting an external controller. The turntable can also be controlled by remote control.
The CD-S2100 has a stylish, modern design with a metal front panel. A remote control is included. This model is available in black and silver colors.
