Linkplay, a company with 9 years of experience in digital audio, has introduced the third model of the WiiM streamer-DAC - the WiiM Pro Plus. The novelty is equipped with a new generation DAC chip and a new ADC.

The WiiM Pro Plus offers higher quality music playback, provided by the premium-class DAC chip AK4493SEQ from Asahi Kasei Microdevices, which ensures low distortion levels and a wide dynamic range thanks to AKM Velvet Sound proprietary technology. The chip supports decoding of PCM digital streams with parameters up to 32 bit / 768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512.
In addition, the second generation player uses a new ADC for the linear analog input - Burr-Brown Audio PCM1861 from Texas Instruments, supporting encoding with parameters 32 bit / 192 kHz, allowing to achieve a signal-to-noise ratio of 110 dB.
In addition to Wi-Fi and Ethernet network interfaces, the connectivity arsenal of the WiiM Pro Plus streamer includes an analog linear input on RCA connectors, digital optical input and output, as well as a coaxial digital output. The novelty supports voice assistants Siri, Alexa, and Google, and comes with a remote control supporting voice input.
The package includes a voice remote control that allows you to control the WiiM Pro+ without getting up from the couch or taking out your phone.
The WiiM Pro Plus is compatible with many streaming services and web radio stations, such as Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, Amazon Music, and TuneIn. You can enjoy your favorite music services and stream them wirelessly to your audio system. And if you want to connect other audio devices to the WiiM Pro, it is equipped with stereo RCA input and Toslink optical input.
In the WiiM Home app, you also get a 10-band graphic equalizer, allowing you to fine-tune the sound playback depending on your listening style and audio system. 24 preset equalizer profiles are also available for quick and convenient setup.
