The Tube Line series by Vincent has been expanded with the new hybrid integrated amplifier Vincent SV-737. Its main feature compared to other models in the line is the ability to connect via WiFi and Bluetooth. Connecting the Vincent SV-737 to your home network via WiFi means it can support streaming and, for example, play music files stored on a NAS.
Features:
- Frequency response range: 20 Hz – 20 kHz (+/- 0.3 dB), 20 Hz – 50 kHz (+/- 1 dB);
- Signal to noise ratio: 90 dB;
- Tube model: 2 x 6N1P, 2 x 6N2P, 1 x 85A2;
- Power per channel: (4 Ohm) 300 W, (8 Ohm) 180 W;
- Non-linear distortion coefficient: 0.02%;
- Power consumption: 590 Watts.
Additionally, the Vincent SV-737 sets new standards in terms of circuitry. It is an integrated amplifier with two amplifier sections - a preamplifier and a power amplifier - that are perfectly matched to each other. "Perfectly" here means that the combination of characteristics of both amplifiers ensures maximum transparency and spectral stability when outputting audio.
Both amplifier sections of the Vincent SV-737 are the latest developments by Vincent. The main principle of the two amplification blocks with a built-in switchable tone control, taken from the flagship preamplifier SA-T7, was used here. But unlike, for example, the Vincent SV-237MK amplifier, an additional tube system is provided for each channel, using two double triodes per channel, totaling four. Voltage amplification is provided by 6N2P-EV tubes, manufactured according to military requirements, with a characteristic curve similar to the well-known ECC83 or 12AX7, but more linear. In addition, 6N2P-EV stands out for its low level of microphonic effect and noise.
Thanks to the high-current cathodes, 6N1P takes on the functions of the driver and buffer stage with guaranteed results. Also borrowed from the Vincent SA-T7 preamplifier is the well-established high voltage adjustment for the tube amplifier: the reference tube 85A2, originally developed for professional measurement equipment, provides low-noise, low-hum power supply voltage in combination with a semiconductor regulator.
Despite the carefully considered combination of both amplifier parts, the connection between these amplifiers can be disconnected externally and, if necessary, an external DSP processor can be connected for room correction. Due to the output impedance of the tube preamplifier, which is significantly reduced compared to the Vincent SV-237MK, it can provide a neutral sound when connecting different connecting cables and input impedances, for example, DSP or equalizer.
