Vincent introduces the third generation of its highly successful hybrid integrated amplifier SV-237. The current version, designated as SV-237 MKII, has removed chrome elements on the front panel and now looks more modern and elegant.
Features:
- Reproducible frequency range: 20 Hz - 20 kHz (+/- 0.5 dB); 20 Hz - 50 kHz (+/- 2 dB);
- Signal-to-noise ratio: 90 dB;
- Tube model: 1 x 12AX7, 2 x 6N1P;
- Power per channel: (4 Ohms) 250 W, (8 Ohms) 150 W;
- Non-linear distortion coefficient: 0.1%.
In addition to cosmetic changes, the amplifier's connectivity options have been upgraded. Now the SV-237 MKII has Bluetooth version 5.0 input, allowing easy music streaming from any mobile phone or tablet to the amplifier.
Furthermore, similar to its predecessor, digital music signals can be fed to the amplifier via optical or coaxial cables. The built-in Burr Brown PCM 5102 digital-to-analog converter module works with 24-bit/192 kHz signals.
Vincent SV-237 MKII utilizes hybrid amplification technology. For Vincent, this solution represents the "best of both worlds." Two 6N1P tubes operate in the preamplification section, providing naturalness and warmth to the sound, while the power amplifier section uses 4 transistors, ensuring excellent dynamics and output power up to 250 W (RMS) per channel.
The amplifier's circuit solutions have been optimized to achieve good signal-to-noise ratio. Vincent SV-237 MKII can be used with a wide range of speaker systems, including high-sensitivity ones, as it does not have any noise typically associated with tube amplifiers.
