Apollo x4 features four Unison microphone preamps, allowing you to use exact emulations of mic preamps from Neve, Helios, API, Manley, UA, and many others. Unison technology accurately models the sound of microphone preamps, including their input impedance, circuit behavior to the component level of the original equipment, and sonic characteristics. Unison modeling technology is also used on the two Hi-Z instrument inputs on the front panel of Apollo x4, providing full impedance matching and gain staging for models of Fender, Marshall, Ampeg, and many other guitar and bass amplifiers.
