Apollo x16 features eight Unison microphone preamps, allowing you to use precise emulations of microphone preamps from Neve, Helios, API, Manley, UA, and many others. Unison technology accurately models the sound of microphone preamps, including their input impedance, circuit behavior down to the component level of the original equipment, and sound characteristics. Unison modeling technology is also used on the six instrument inputs on the rear panel of Apollo x8p, providing full resistance and gain matching for guitar and bass amplifier models from Fender, Marshall, Ampeg, and many others.
Apollo x16 offers a stunning range of classic instruments for recording and mixing in real-time with UAD plugins. With powerful built-in UAD-2 OCTO Core processing, Apollo x16 allows recording and mixing with UAD plugins with almost zero latency.
