Description

The STAX company, following the latest trends, has developed and started producing the innovative next-generation SRM-D50 amplifier, combined with a DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) and featuring an extremely low noise level. The device is equipped with several digital inputs: a high-resolution USB audio input (DSD 5.6 MHz), optical and coaxial inputs (PCM 384 kHz), allowing it to be used with various signal sources. The engineers also didn't forget about the analog input, implemented with RCA connectors. The amplifier circuit is built using a discrete scheme in the traditional style of STAX, inherited from classic STAX amplifiers.

Features:

  • Support for digital inputs: USB, optical, coaxial.
  • Support for Hi-Res Audio formats: PCM 32-bit 384 kHz, DSD 5.6 MHz.
  • Meter indicator.
  • Non-magnetic 4mm thick aluminum cover.
  • Transformer with a R-core design provides minimal losses.

The device has a fully aluminum body with a velvet-like finish. The lively voltmeter on the front panel adds life to the music listening experience. The standard proprietary 5-pin connector is suitable for any STAX headphones. The high audio quality requirements led to a careful selection of amplifier components. And another important detail - the output stage of the amplifier operates in pure Class A, which means that if you feel like having a cup of coffee during your music listening session, you can extend the pleasure without worries about it, the coffee, getting cold.

Overall, the SRM-D50 combines modern aesthetic design, cutting-edge technologies, and the applaudable traditional approach of STAX to the development and production of its products. After all, a wonderfully sounding device should always please the eye!

Package includes:

  • Amplifier.
  • Power cable.
