Description
The Stax SRM-500T headphone amplifier is a receiver for the SRM-006tS model. This amplifier features custom low-noise FET transistors in the first stage and high-voltage dual triodes 6FQ7/6CG7 in the output stage. Thanks to a completely new power transformer with a special winding used to power the low-voltage section, the engineers were able to reduce power consumption and improve sound quality. In addition to this, the chassis has been significantly redesigned, making it more rigid by using a hybrid structure with a large number of aluminum parts.
