New version with detachable cable
The first series of SR-Lambda was introduced 36 years ago, and it has since evolved into the new generation SR-Lambda with a new housing and improved diaphragm.
High-quality sound element
The SR-L700MK2 sound element features a handmade SR-009 thin film diaphragm and fixed electrodes treated with diffusion etching. This achieves deep bass, delicate high frequencies, and an ideal midrange.
10-position adjustment
The headband assembly (ARC) of the SR-L700 MKII is equipped with a slider mechanism with 10 height adjustment positions taken from the SR-009. Once adjusted, the slider always maintains its optimal position, avoiding the need for constant readjustment. This allows for long periods of comfortable music enjoyment.
New low-resistance cable
The headphones use HiFC™ high-purity copper developed by Hitachi. HiFC has various advantages and improved sound characteristics. Such cables are also used in the SR-009 6N. The cable is arranged in a flat, wide-format configuration, reducing the internal resistance of the conductor and improving electrical conductivity.
Genuine lambskin leather
The headphones feature carefully hand-processed genuine lambskin leather, ensuring maximum comfort during extended listening sessions.
