New Version with Detachable Cable
The first series of SR-Lambda was introduced 36 years ago and has since evolved into the SR-Lambda new generation with a new housing and improved diaphragm.
High-quality sound element
The SR-L500 MKII features a manually selected thin-film diaphragm and rigid stainless steel electrodes, resulting in rich deep bass, delicate high frequencies, and an ideal midrange.
10-position adjustment
The headband assembly (ARC) of the SR-L500 MKII is equipped with a slider mechanism with 10 positions for adjusting the headband height, taken from the SR-009 and SR-507. Once adjusted, the slider always maintains its optimal position, avoiding the need for constant readjustment. This allows you to enjoy music for extended periods with maximum comfort.
New low-resistance cable
The headphones use high-purity copper HiFC™ conductors developed by Hitachi. HiFC offers various advantages and improved sound characteristics. These cables are also used in the SR-009 and SR-L500 6N. The cable is arranged in a flat, wide-format configuration, which reduces the conductor's internal resistance and improves electrical conductivity.
New synthetic leather
The headphones utilize the highest quality synthetic leather, providing maximum comfort during extended listening sessions.
