Launcher Deluxe
Launcher Deluxe is a unique external dual-channel microphone preamplifier and transformer saturator. By combining two tools in one, it significantly expands the capabilities of sound engineers and performers. You can choose to either amplify and color two separate ribbon and dynamic microphones by 26dB, or bypass the amplification and simply add color and character to capacitor microphones or line level signals. Whether you need to boost a weak signal, liven up a dull source, add depth to mixes, or pump up live sound, Launcher Deluxe will help you achieve outstanding results.
Launcher Deluxe processes both microphone and line level signals through two separate signal paths. Each path is equipped with two custom toroidal transformers with manual switching and the same analog circuitry that gave the original Launcher its unique color and atmosphere. Unlike most microphone preamplifiers, Launcher Deluxe is not about clean sound. You will get a powerful dose of colored stereo sound, the intensity of which you control by increasing or decreasing the preamplifier gain to your liking.
