Microphone 013 FET

The sound of the 013 FET microphone is characterized by rich low end, warm midrange, and natural high end. Built following all the classic narrow diaphragm microphone canons, this model also has its own unique character. The 013 series microphones capture sound with high precision and add a distinctive warmth, giving a musical shine to the precise response. The soft top end with detailed nuances significantly simplifies the process of recording instruments with complex transients.

By using a special toroidal transformer and delivering an extremely low level of nonlinear distortion, the 013 FET microphone has a saturated and beautiful sound comparable to the legendary Neumann KM84. Like all Soyuz products, the 013 FET is 100% handmade at the Soyuz factory in Tula. It is available in the signature creamy color as well as in a classic black finish.
